BRAND MANAGER – Marketing

The incumbent will be responsible for the reporting, planning, administration and execution of trade and marketing promotions/campaigns approved by the Lead Marketing Brand Manager including but not limited to:

  • Print, web, social media and broadcast
  • Events, product launches and in-store sampling
  • Re-merchandising planogram and POS displays
  • Corporate responsibility programs and sponsorship requests
  • Overseeing and reporting marketing and advertising activities to ensure
  • consistency with product line strategy
  • Preparing and adhering to brand marketing budgets whilst collating and organizing all invoices
  • Providing photographic evidence of promotional executions
  • Monthly in Trade visits with documentation of findings
  • Liaising with Accounts Payable and Receivable for accurate allocation
    of invoices and payments
  • Run IMS, Inventory Reports and TPR for select vendors
  • Meeting with external marketing partners such as advertising agencies,
  • printing companies, digital marketing firms and production companies
  • Generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content on BGA’s social
  • media platforms; including all brand specific sites
  • Creating, developing and managing specific content for BGA’s website
  • Organizing new products, creating sell sheets and presenting innovation to management
  • Brainstorming new creative and innovative marketing ideas
  • Creating copromotions with marketing team members
  • Any other associated duties as required to successfully fulfill this role

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree with a marketing focus OR equivalent work experience
  • in the marketing field. An understanding of consumer packaged goods marketing would be an asset
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, including but not limited to Microsoft
  • Office applications and experience with graphic design software would be an asset
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high intense team environment

The position is hands-on, and the candidates are expected to do much of the executional work involved in such activities as product launches, advertising, promotions, event, marketing, sampling, and displays.

This is a full-time position, hours 8.00am to 5.00pm, however, the incumbent is expected to work the hours necessary to complete the role.

Manager – Pharmaceutical Division

Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Manager – Pharmaceutical Division will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of BGA Wholesale/Distribution Pharmacy business.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Act as the Responsible Person to ensure all aspects of Good Distribution Practice are achieved;
  • Ensuring a quality management system is implemented and maintained;
  • Effective management of BGA Pharmacy Wholesale Staff;
  • Effective management of supply and distribution of pharmaceuticals within the boundaries of the Pharmacy Act;
  • Full profit and loss responsibility for the department;
  • Preparing sales and capital budget in accordance with Company profit guidelines;
  • Managing and meeting agreed targets;
  • Examining and implementing any departmental performance management initiatives;
  • Other associated duties as necessary to efficiently manage the Department.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree in Pharmacy
  • A Responsible Person qualification (Gold Standard preferred)
  • Prior experience of creating and maintaining all aspects of a QMS, acting as a Quality and Pharmacovigilance lead and dealing with external and manufacturer audits.
  • Thorough working knowledge of EU GDP Guidelines and Directives
  • Detailed knowledge of Pharmaceutical supply and logistics
  • Vendor relationship management expertise
  • Prior experience and familiarity with Microsoft Suite products and IBM AS400
  • Proven ability to manage and multi-skilled team
