BRAND MANAGER – Marketing

The incumbent will be responsible for the reporting, planning, administration and execution of trade and marketing promotions/campaigns approved by the Lead Marketing Brand Manager including but not limited to:

  • Creating Print, web, social media and broadcast
  • Hosting events, product launches and in-store sampling
  • Re-merchandising planogram and POS displays
  • Creating and managing corporate responsibility programs and sponsorship requests
  • Overseeing and reporting marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy
  • Preparing and adhering to brand marketing budgets whilst collating and organizing all invoices
  • Providing photographic evidence of promotional executions
  • Completing monthly in Trade visits with documentation of findings
  • Liaising with Accounts Payable and Receivable for accurate allocation
    of invoices and payments
  • Running IMS, Inventory Reports and TPR for select vendors
  • Meeting with external marketing partners such as advertising agencies, printing companies, digital marketing firms and production companies
  • Generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content on BGA’s social media platforms; including all brand specific sites
  • Creating, developing and managing specific content for BGA’s website
  • Organizing new products, creating sell sheets and presenting innovation to management
  • Brainstorming new creative and innovative marketing ideas
  • Creating copromotions with marketing team members
  • Any other associated duties as required to successfully fulfill this role

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree with a marketing focus OR equivalent work experience in the marketing field. An understanding of consumer packaged goods marketing would be an asset
  • Must have a strong understanding and experience with Adobe Suite/ Photoshop
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high intense team environment

The position is hands-on, and the candidates are expected to do much of the executional work involved in such activities as product launches, advertising, promotions, event, marketing, sampling, and displays.

This is a full-time position, hours 8.00am to 5.00pm, however, the incumbent is expected to work the hours necessary to complete the role.
